| Keith Schermerhorn - I have lived in the Charlotte area for most of my life, and currently own a small home in Dilworth. Having grown up with household pets (dogs and cats), I've been an animal lover since day one. I have watched friends' and family's dogs and cats since I was 12, and rescued a mixed breed dog about 8 years ago that I still have, Harley. I love the intrinsic sociable and empathetic nature of dogs, and I'm passionate about the rescue of dogs and cats and the good care of them. In addition to being a pet sitter, I'm an independent sales representative. | ![]() |

Ryan Coleman - Naturally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Ryan relocated to Charlotte in August 2009 in order to attend UNC Charlotte, where he's working toward architecture and music degrees. His mother, a former veterinary technician, taught him to love animals of all kinds. He grew up with cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, and even a horse. He spent over 100 hours volunteering at the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, a no-kill shelter for surrendered dogs and cats. Here in Charlotte, he has a pet cat of his own and continues to volunteer at area shelters. He is very excited to meet and work with your wonderful pets, and hopes to make some great friends along the way. |
| Bill Flanagan - I’m a native of Boston and recently moved to the Charlotte area with my two rescue dogs. In Massachusetts, I was a volunteer with the New England Brittany Rescue where I was a foster parent. Over the years, I have had dogs, cats, fish, a rabbit and a snake as pets. My two children live in the Charlotte area and they both have family pets, which warms my heart knowing my grandchildren will grow up with animals in their lives. | ![]() |

Peggy Demaree - I have lived in Charlotte most of my adult life. I grew up with a pet dog, and have always had a dog until I moved into a townhouse. I make up for not having one by spending time with my friends’ dogs, whenever I can. I do have a Quaker parrot, however, and I interact with him daily because we each can talk to the other! I know how it feels when I have to leave him with my pet sitter. For that reason, I take extra special care of other people’s pets. |
| Leia Jerome-Kent - I moved to Charlotte from New Hampshire in 2006 to escape the snow! I share a home with two kitties, Foxy and Rotti. It's their house, I just live in it! When I was a child I was known for letting a stray animal follow me home a time or two! Growing up we always had some combination of dogs and cats in the house. That fondness and respect for animals has followed me into adulthood. I'm always in awe of how a pet can lighten your heart. Foxy and Rotti are very loved and spoiled; I hope to pass on the same to your furry friends! | ![]() |

Matthew Wood - My wife and I are from the Washington D.C. area. I have two beautiful children Lillian (8) and Maximus (11 months). I have lived in Charlotte for the last three years going to school at the University of NC Charlotte. I have lived in eight states on the east coast, all before I was in the seventh grade and I cannot remember a time in my life when I did not have a cat or dog, however, most of the time, I had both. I love animals and they love me. I currently have a five-month-old Bugg (half Boston Terrier, Half Pug) named Leo and a Double manned Lion Head rabbit named Comet. I have about three summers worth of experience house and pet sitting. I know how much my animals mean to me and could not imagine if, God forbid, anything would happen to them while I was away, so I can assure that I will love your pets as my own and I look forward to meeting your little friends. |
| Amanda Guyer - I am a native North Carolinian and I have just moved to Charlotte. I am an animal lover! My family always had plenty of animals around the house while I was growing up. As a child, I spent more time playing with animals than with toys, so I have always loved animals. I have been pet sitting for nearly three years now and I love it. I currently live in an apartment which doesn’t allow pets, so pet sitting allows me the chance to be around and love on other people’s babies. Most of my experience is with dogs and cats, but I am comfortable with all animals. Also, I am currently a nursing student at Mercy School of Nursing here in Charlotte. So in general, I love being a caregiver and I look forward to caring for your loved ones. | ![]() |

Paulina Kudla - My name is Paulina Kudla and I'm a girl who lives in Charlotte. Animals are such a blessing and I can't get enough of them. Klaus is a German Shepard that I call mine and he is 10 years old but has the sweetest pup spirit. My other fuzzy baby is a Tabby cat named Kaden. She is fat and sassy. I love being able to take care of various animals and it brings me much joy. You can trust me with your pet and I will care for it fondly. Thank you! |
| Emily Mauney - I am a Gastonia, NC native and currently living in the University area in Charlotte. I am a senior in Civil Engineering at UNC Charlotte. My entire life, I have adored animals. When I was young, I grew up with a few Siamese-mix cats and a Pomeranian, and I rode horses at a family friend’s farm every chance I got! As a young adult, I lived with my mother and our collective three cats (Siamese-mix, Maine Coon-mix, and a feral cat gone domestic!). As a college student, I live in an apartment where I am unable to keep my cat, but I visit every chance I get. I also enjoy visiting with my father and stepmother, who have a cat, a Morkie, and a mini-Poodle, as well as my boyfriend’s family who have an awesome lab and a beautiful Labradoodle. I would love the opportunity to help you take care of your loved ones while you are unable. Pets are such a wonderful gift to us, and I know that you all cherish your babies’ companionship and therapeutic nature. A world with a pet is a world with more love! | ![]() |

Nancy Horn - I believe that all animals -big and small deserve to be shown compassion and love. My children and I have lived in the Lake Norman area for 20 years with our entourage of animals, which included, dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, rabbets, gecko's, frogs and a snake. Our home was the one that took the classroom pets to keep over school holidays. I have done pet sitting for neighbors and friends and our home now is filled with four loving cats who are brother and sisters I would welcome the opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment for your pet to be in, while they await your return. |
